Restaurant Christmas Booking Conditions
1
All bookings are provisional only until payment of deposit of £10 per diner.
This is payable by 2 weeks after the date then initial provisional booking is made. If after expiry of this 2 week period,
deposit is still outstanding, your booking is liable to be cancelled if another party seeks a similar time/ table size. Once
paid, this booking now becomes a confirmed booking. Please, as a matter of courtesy, inform us of when you are unable to honour
any provisional booking to allow us to properly organise ourselves during this very busy period.
2
The £10 per diner deposit is ONLY deducted from the final bill for every
diner who actually honours the confirmed booking number and shall be forfeited for any members of the party who fail to appear.
A booking is made for 10 diners and £100 deposit paid to make the booking a confirmed booking. If all 10 diners appear, £100
will be deducted from your bill. If only 7 diners appear, only £70 will be deducted from your bill. We operate in this fashion
not as a money making exercise. We do this as a disincentive for diners to fail to honour their booking and thus take-up valuable
table space which we could have used to accommodate other parties who we will have had to refuse. Please understand this.
3
We do not payment of the final bill by cheque whether it be personal or
business. We do not want to cause offence on the night of the booking unnecessarily so please bear this in mind. We do, of
course, accept payment of deposit by cheque as we will have enough time to submit the cheque for bank-clearing and receive
the funds prior to the date of your booking.
4
You may be given a specific “out-time” when making your booking.
An “out-time” is the time that your party must vacate the table to allow us to accommodate the later bookings.
If you are not given a specific “out-time” when making your booking, the “out-time” is 2 hours after
the confirmed booking time. The “out-time” is NOT 2 hours after the last member of your party appears and orders.
This is very, very important to honour as any later parties with confirmed bookings for your table will understandably be
upset if their table is not available for the time that they have booked for.
5
We look forward to welcoming you and your guests. Have a very merry Christmas
and a great new year!
